The Sisterhood of the Traveling Relics of St. Gianna

Saint Gianna Beretta Molla was an Italian wife, mother, and physician whose life beautifully united deep Catholic faith with joyful service to others.
Born in 1922, she pursued a vocation in medicine, specializing in pediatrics, while living an ordinary life rooted in prayer, family, and love for her patients—especially mothers, children, and the poor. Gianna faced a grave medical diagnosis during her final pregnancy and made the courageous decision to protect the life of her unborn child, accepting the risk to her own. She died in 1962, shortly after her daughter’s birth, offering a profound witness to sacrificial love and trust in God.
Canonized in 2004, Saint Gianna is honored as a patron of mothers, unborn children, families, and healthcare workers, and her life continues to inspire faith, hope, and reverence for the dignity of every human life.

About St. Gianna

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Relics of St. Gianna is a global prayer ministry that brings women together through devotion to Saint Gianna Beretta Molla and her witness of faith, motherhood, and sacrificial love. United across distances, members pray for one another, finding hope, consolation, and sisterhood in Christ through the example of St. Gianna.
I know by experience how precious sisters are and so the Lord heard my prayers.
